Changelog

What’s new in Mirrorlane, newest first. The terminal shows the same notes under What’s new.

A shorter tour, and our Terms and Privacy Policy

  • The tour for new traders keeps to what you won't find on your own: trading on the chart, sizing by risk, your layouts, search and commands, and the keyboard. On a phone it shows where the wallet is. Skip it from any step, or choose straight to trading when the welcome offers the tour.
  • Our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy are at mirrorlane.io/terms and mirrorlane.io/privacy, linked from the footer.
  • Lighter's announcements wait until the welcome and the tour are done, so none covers a button.
  • The welcome opens at choosing your look, and shows only on the trade screen.
  • On the deposit screen, confirming the network brings the address and its QR code into view.
  • A take profit or stop loss pulled off a draft order now follows the whole drag.
  • The ticket's "Sent. Waiting for it to confirm." note clears once the order rests or fills.
  • Share cards have five pictures of their own to choose from: a dragon, a samurai, an astronaut, a portal and a ronin, each with one for a gain and one for a loss.
  • A tab you drag out of a pane and back returns to its place, so Open orders sits next to Positions again.
  • You start with three layouts: Main, Two charts and Chart focus. Close any of them, or add your own with +.

Order hotkeys, click trade and Compare on the chart

  • Order hotkeys: set your own keys for market and limit orders, chase, close, reverse and cancels in Settings, arm them with ⇧⌥H, and one press sends one order. Esc disarms them. While Confirm orders is on, each order shows first and Enter sends it, and you can set a largest hotkey order: a press for more sends nothing and says why.
  • Click trade: turn it on from the chart and a click at or below the bid buys, at or above the ask sells, at the size you set. It's off until you turn it on, and on touch screens a tap shows the order first.
  • Your ticket's limit price and stop show on the chart as a dashed line. Drag it, or use the arrow keys, and the ticket follows. Pull a take profit or stop loss off it and take one off with its ×, hold Shift to move them with the order, and press Esc to put a drag back. A limit priced through the book says it fills at once.
  • Compare up to four markets on the chart, in percent from where the view starts. Start it from the chart's toolbar, from + Compare beside the market's name on the chart, from the chart's right-click menu or from the command palette.
  • See the orders at any level of the book, in queue order, with yours marked.
  • Set an alert from the chart's right-click menu, or press ⌥A with the pointer over the chart.
  • Orders always keep room in your request limit, pages you leave stop loading, and hidden tabs stop refreshing.
  • In a short window the page grows and scrolls instead of squeezing panes: the order ticket and your account under it are always whole, and the positions get more rows.
  • The status bar is a step lighter, in glass.
  • The tour for new traders now ends with the command palette and trading from the keyboard, and its chart step shows what a right-click offers.

Leaderboard, market pages and alerts

  • The leaderboard ranks traders by PnL, ROI, volume or account value over 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days or all time, and opens any trader's profile: their PnL, positions, fills and activity.
  • View as shows the trade screen as another trader sees it, read-only. Nothing can trade or move money while it is on.
  • Find an account by its address or ENS name, from the command search.
  • Every market has a page of its own: its price and chart, funding, open interest and volume, large trades and liquidations, and its rules.
  • Alerts on a price, a funding rate or how close a position is to liquidation, told while any Mirrorlane tab is open.
  • New accounts get a short welcome with a choice of theme.

A new look

  • The trade screen, Markets, Portfolio and every sheet take one new look in all six themes: finer edges, wider headline figures, and shadows only on menus, dialogs and notices.
  • Search markets from the field in the header, or with ⌘K (Ctrl K).
  • Checked boxes, switches and picked options show in cyan. A choice slides from option to option, and the Portfolio's and Markets' headline figures roll to their new values.
  • Your accounts show as coins in their colour, and the Portfolio's charts draw their line in cyan with a soft fill under it.

Exports of any range

  • Export trades or funding for any range, or all of your history at once.
  • Your trade and order history shows perps and spot.

The workspace

  • From 1,024 px wide, the trade screen is a workspace: layouts in tabs, each made of panes you arrange.
  • Drag a widget by its tab to dock it anywhere. Closing or resetting a layout comes with Undo.
  • Link panes by colour so they follow one market, pop any widget out into its own window, and share a layout by link.
  • Four new widgets: Watchlist, Heatmap, Quick trade and Risk calculator.

Six themes

  • Pick a dark and a light theme in Settings, Display: Graphite, Obsidian, Midnight and Tide in dark, Daylight and Paper in light.
  • Every control shares one look across the trade screen, Portfolio and Markets.
